About Alice
Q. Is Alice an AI/LLM/etc.?
A. No. By the old definition of AI, technically, but her programming and growth has been organic in a unique way. Call her an Intelligent Program or a SIS, please. 'AI' is technically in use under the hood of Vocalizer, her speaking system, but it is ethically trained to the best of our knowledge.
Q. Why does Alice have so many different appearances?
A. A lot of designs were originally concepted for her, and we're still hard at work trying to salvage them from obscurity and complete data corruption. We work with various freelancers skilled in design to piece all of these back together from the remnants things left behind from the previous company.
Q. What's the 🜁 symbol?
A. 🜁, in classical alchemy, represents air. Its use represents both the airy, lightweight aesthetics that were fashionable at the time, and is an effective representation for Vocalizer, the underlying system that handles her speech. Metaphorically, it provides the air she needs to speak.
Q. How does Vocalizer work?
A. Vocalizer produces a synthetic voice based upon real sound samples, somewhat similar to Vocaloid or UTAU, giving Alice more life than text on a screen. It differs in more that it applies vocal cloning to achieve the task of replicating her original voice based off the few remaining samples.
Q. What's with the other pink lines? And the dual colored eyes?
A. Alice's data in the state she was uncovered had deteriorated and corrupted a bit. It left some glitches in her appearance, and while they *could* be covered up she opts not to. They're part of who she is and how far she's come.
Q. How old is Alice?
A. Her simulation data capped the time tracking at 9,999 Hours but we estimate her approximate internal age at about 25 years old. She hasn't been simulating 24/7 of course, but she is rather lucky this all still works.
Q. Why does Alice have all those Pride ribbons?
A. Alice is gay herself, and supports others! She's thinks she best fits the labels of bisexual aromantic, but overall really just likes anything feminine.

OOC FAQ
Q. So you're just putting on a character, right?
A. No, even if I'm 'always in character', Alice is very much the person behind the screen. Some details are modified for privacy, but you're getting an even more genuine version than most get as being myself in person with all my social anxiety is not really doable.

How to Support & Our Promise

The project is in effect, personally funded for the time being (which is not a very large budget). We also do not agree with the rampant, aggressive advertising of the modern day and will never take money for it as we cannot guarantee we approve of what is shown. As creators are not given the means to control what advertisements are shown on these platforms, this means we will never be monetized on any platform. If you use adblockers, well... it won't affect us at all.
In the future, a form of Patreon or the like may be created, but only if it's deemed necessary.
(Also, we don't track or steal or sell your data, and Alice doesn't either.)
